Both natural and laboratory-grown diamonds are crystallised carbon. The difference lies in their origin.

Natural diamonds

Formed deep within the Earth over very long periods of time, then mined.

Laboratory-grown diamonds

Created in controlled environments using processes that replicate diamond formation. They are disclosed as laboratory-grown and are graded using the same characteristics: carat weight, colour, clarity and cut.

Choosing between them

The right choice depends on what matters to you: origin, budget, size, or how you intend to wear the piece. Each of our listings states clearly whether the stones are natural or laboratory-grown, and certification details when they are available.
